Lancast
Lancast Allows clients in the same LAN to share files with a very high speed, and finding sources and Files (keyword searches are available only on V2) inside the LAN without a Server or KAD by using UDP multicasting.
It is a common misconception that Lancast uses UDP multicasting also for file transfer, fact: it doesn't!
For file transfer an modified Upload Bandwidth Throttler is used which provides a separate upload limit for LAN Clients, simpler implementations uses unlimited upload.
Lan download is usually always Unlimited, NeoMule provides exceptionally due to his Download Bandwidth Throttler also the ability to manage Lan download speed.
Lancast is not usable over the Internet since multicast is disabled by 99,9% of all providers and wouldn't bring any advantages over Servers/KAD.
The feature is currently available in NeoMule since v4.x (LC V2), and eMule Plus and Sivka (LC V1). And its on the to do list of the Morph Mod
