Multiple Instances allows for more than one eMule executable to run at the same time on a single computer. Each instance must be installed in and run from a separate folder and each must use different port numbers. Otherwise conflicts will occur, and one or more instances will fail to work. This is a file safety feature, and is also useful for testing purposes.

This feature is integrated in official eMule via CommandLine:

 emule.exe -ignoreinstances
