intellifush is an option Set the filebuffer write flush time in seconds instead of in size.
this is created to prevent that HDD trashing behaviour of the official client... a high filebuffer should always be preferred to keep your HDD healthy... but with the official client you can prevent a chunk that is ready to be uploaded for up to 2 minutes (and with mods this can be even worse) With IntelliFlush you can - in theory - use an unlimited filebuffer without any problems (... only one could be lack of RAM in extreme cases or loss of data in case of a crash).
